eShop - Credit Card Storage

If you have a merchant facility which allows you to process credit card details, it is possible to have the cart securely store credit card details so you can process them manually through your merchant facility.

Note: Before setting up credit card storage you must purchase an SSL certificate in order to apply appropriate encryption to your shopping cart. Without an SSL, your customer'sâ„¢ credit card details are vulnerable and therefore we do not recommend proceeding with using the credit card storage feature without first purchasing an SSL. To purchase an SSL please contact sales@magicdust.com.au

To activate credit card storage:

  1. Click on "cart settings" and then "global cart settings."




  2. Click on "CCS Settings" on the left hand side.




  3. Fill in your details to activate credit card storage.

    Note: You must not lose the password that you set for credit card storage. This password is necessary to retrieve the credit card details after an order has been placed. It cannot be retrieved and we cannot reset it for you. If the password is lost then you will need to contact your customers to retrieve their credit card details over the phone.





  4. Click save changes.
